Age limit
There is no specific minimum or maximum age for creating an OTR. Age eligibility for individual SSC examinations will be given in the respective exam notifications. Refer to the full notification for age relaxation rules.

Eligibility
Completing SSC OTR is a pre-requisite for candidates who plan to apply for SSC recruitment exams in future. OTR stores your basic details so you don’t have to re-enter them for each exam.
Important: Keep your data accurate and up to date — especially Aadhaar, name, DOB and contact details — before the edit window closes.

How to Apply
- Visit ssc.gov.in.
- Click “New User? Register Now” under the OTR section.
- Enter basic details: name, date of birth, email, mobile number and Aadhaar number.
- Verify email and mobile using OTPs.
- Upload your photograph, signature and Aadhaar (mandatory from 02 June 2025).
- Submit the form and note your Registration ID and Password for future use.
- Use these credentials to apply for SSC exams in 2025–26.
If you already have an OTR, you can edit it starting 08 October 2025 via the same portal.
